County Democrats to
hold petition signing events
The Warren County Democratic Party will hold petition signing events from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, Feb. 28 and March 7, at the Jefferson DeFrees Family Center in the Wetmore Room. Signing candidates’s petitions puts their names on the ballot. Registered Democrats are invited to attend and sign the following candidates’ petitions for the upcoming spring primary election: Governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Lieutenant Governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania’s 15th Congressional District, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives 65th District, and the Warren County Democratic Committee.
Caregivers Support
Group to meet
The Caregivers Support Group-Warren will meet at noon Monday, Feb. 16, at Grace United Methodist Church, 501 PA. Ave. E., Warren. Enter the building via the elevator entrance and proceed to the Wesley Parlor. Caregivers and anyone interested in learning more about this group are invited to attend. Meetings are a time of sharing concerns and ideas with other caregivers in a confidential setting. A time for questions and discussion will be included. Educational materials from the Alzheimer’s Association, the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, and the group’s lending library are available. Monthly luncheon planned
The Warren High School Class of 1956 will hold its monthly luncheon at Lawson’s West End Takeout restaurant on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
Bridge league
winners announced
Monday evening at the YMCA, Shelley Dahlie and Richard Woodruff came in first with Chick Bello and Bill Kuppinger in second. At the Woman’s Club on Tuesday, Connie Michell placed first and Peggy Morgan was second. Jo Simonsen and Marge Neel came in first and second on Thursday at the Woman’s Club.
