Warren Class of 1957 to meet

The Warren High Class of 1957 will meet on Saturday, Jan. 17, at the Eagle’s Club in Warren at noon.

Masonic lodge to meet today

The North Star Lodge 241 will meet at 7 p.m. today, Jan. 15, at the Masonic Lodge in Starbrick. Brandon J. Chase, Worshipful Master, will deliver the program which is titled, “Freemasons of the Air.” A light meal will be served prior to the meeting.

Eisenhower Class

of 1973 to meet

The Eisenhower High School Class of 1973 will meet for breakfast at The Bucket Cafe in Sugar Grove at 9:30 a.m. today, Jan. 15. Spouses, family and friends are welcome to attend.

Allegheny Outdoor Club

to hike or ski Sunday

On Sunday, Jan. 18, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will cross-country ski or hike at Chapman Dam, Clarendon. Those attending should meet at the first parking lot after the spillway at 2 p.m. Mark Simpson is the leader for the activity.

Blood drive

scheduled for Jan. 20

Holy Redeemer church, 11 Russell St, Warren, will host a Community Blood Bank blood drive from noon to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 20. Call 814-596-3395 to schedule your appointment to donate. Appointments aren’t necessary but can reduce donors’ wait times. Community Blood Bank partners with hospitals in Northwest Pennsylvania and Western New York to provide blood for patients in need. Donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be in good general health. Photo ID is also required. Prior to donating, donors should eat a solid meal and drink at least 18 ounces of water.

Bridge league

winners announced

Monday evening at the YMCA, Rita Mancuso and Connie Michell came in first with Richard Woodruff and Mary Conarro in second. At the Woman’s Club on Tuesday, Connie Michell and Alice Kellogg were first and second. Alice Kellogg placed first Thursday at the Woman’s Club and Connie Michell was second. The first week of the annual bridge marathon found Penny Miller and Dave Benedict in first with Bill Massa and Connie Michell in second.
