Warren Public Library announces upcoming January programs
The Warren Public Library Adult Programs for January are as follows:
— On Monday, Jan. 12 beginning at 5:30 p.m., Family Yoga will meet in the Slater Room. Jill Clary, certified yoga instructor will engage participants in a 60 minute session filled with fun, connection and mindfulness. Please bring a yoga mat or beach towel. This is for 6th grade students and up. Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required.
— On Tuesday, Jan. 13 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., a Needle Felting class with Jill Sheldon will be held in the Slater room. Registration is required and participants will learn the art of needle felting by making snowmen.
— On Saturday, Jan. 17 from 11 a.m. to noon the Master Gardeners Program of the PennState Extension will be holding a 3-part series on Cabin Fever: Garden Pests, session one :Insect Pests, Registration is required and the class will be held in the Slater Room. Ideas on how to approach insect issues covering the three highly invasive pests: lantern flies, jumping worms and box tree moths; as well as common garden insects such as aphids and Japanese beetles.
