Library lists upcoming events
The Warren Public Library has the following ongoing programs for November:
— Writers Group will be meeting on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Jefferson Room. Are you a writer or aspiring writer? Would you like support from fellow writers? This group has been formed as a new writers group with the advice and support of a longtime member of Pennwriters see www.pennwriters.org
— Arts & Crafts Club will be on Thursday, Nov. 20 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Jefferson Room and Maker Space. Bring your own project to work on and socialize with your fellow artists and crafters.
— Craft Time Group will meet on Monday, November 24 in the Maker Space. Learn how to make potholders with a loom. Registration is required for each session. Register for the session that works best for your schedule by calling the library or register online. The two sessions are from 12:30 to 1:30 pm or from 5:30 to 6:30 pm
— Tech Talk: Genealogy, Part 2 will reconvene on Tuesday, Nov. 25 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the reference room. Registration required. Come learn about Fold3 and Heritage Quest for genealogy research.
In addition to regular monthly programs at the Warren Public Library, the Special Programs for the month of November include:
— Medicare and Pennie presented by the Calvert Pearson Insurance Group today from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the Slater Room. Registration is required.
— Healthy Holidays, A Nutrition Program by Meg Harkins and Sandra Blum will be held on Wednesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Slater Room. Registration is required. Learn how to be a mindful eater during the holidays.
