Sugar Grove VFD To Host Christmas Craft Show Nov. 15

SUGAR GROVE – The Sugar Grove Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual Christmas craft show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 15. The show will include artisan gifts and decorations, holiday treats, locally made arts and crafts. There will also be a food truck. The fire hall is located at 11 Wilson St., Sugar Grove. There is free admission and parking.

Party Is Saturday

SUGAR GROVE – The Sugar Grove Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual turkey party on Friday, Nov. 7. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the party starts at 7 p.m. There will be steak platters, cheese and pepperoni, turkeys, cash and a special drawing for a live turkey.

Blood drive set for

Nov. 10 in Lander

RUSSELL – The Lander Fire Department, 5555 PA-957, Russell, will host a Community Blood Bank blood drive from 4 to 8 p.m. Nov. 10. To donate, individuals must be at least 17 years old (or 16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health. Appointments can be scheduled by visiting www.fourhearts.org or by calling Edinger at 814-596-3395. Walk-ins are also welcome, but scheduling an appointment ensures a smoother process for donors.
