Barnes Cemetery decorations
The Barnes Cemetery Association would like to remind lot owners that it is time to remove all old summer decorations.
Class of 1973 to meet Saturday
SUGAR GROVE – The Eisenhower High School Class of 1973 will have breakfast at The Bucket Cafe in Sugar Grove at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18. Spouses, family and friends are welcome to attend.
Free community breakfast is Saturday
RUSSELL – The Russell United Methodist Church will hold a free community breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausages, eggs, juice and coffee.
Free food truck in Pittsfield Saturday
PITTSFIELD – A free food truck will be located at Berea Lutheran Church from 11 a.m. until the food is gone on Saturday, Oct. 18. The church is located at the junction of Route 6 and Route 958 in Pittsfield, 51 Route 958, Pittsfield. The Lily Pad food truck will be in the church parking lot with two selections to choose from: homemade macaroni and cheese or homemade meatballs in a creamy sauce served over jasmine rice. There is no charge. Guests can grab their food and go, or sit down in Berea’s Educational Building and have their meal. Dessert and beverage are included. For more information, call 814-730-3803.
Allegheny Outdoor Club
to bike, hike Sunday
On Sunday, Oct. 19, Greg Burkett will lead an Allegheny Outdoor Club bike or hike in the West Creek Recreational Trail between St. Mary’s and Emporium Pa., a distance of 19 miles. The trail has a crushed limestone surface and is mostly downhill from St. Mary’s. The group will meet at Musante Street in Warren at 1:30 p.m. and car pool to the trail head outside of St Mary’s.
Caregivers Support Group
to meet Monday
The Caregivers Support Group-Warren, will meet on Monday, Oct. 20, at noon at Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Pennsylvania Ave. East, Warren. Enter the building via the elevator entrance and proceed to the Wesley Parlor. Meetings are a time of confidential discussion and sharing of concerns from caregivers. All caregivers and those interested in learning about Alzheimer’s Disease or other dementia-related disorders are welcome and encouraged to attend. The support group meeting is open to the public. Class of 1956 plans luncheon
The Warren High School Class of 1956 will hold its monthly luncheon on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at 302 Pub & Eatery, 302 Pennsylvania Ave., East.
