River CleanUp recycling drive begins

Photo submitted to the Times Observer

Recyclable metal is being accepted through Sunday, Sept. 14, at the metal recycling dumpster in front of the AutoZone in North Warren. Over the past 17 years, the Allegheny River CleanUp has recycled more than 70 tons of metal pulled from the watershed and donated by area residents. Every load dropped off helps clean up organizers pay the costs of keeping the Allegheny River and Reservoir clean and beautiful. Only recyclable metal is accepted, no garbage, mattresses, tires, batteries, or electronics.

Starting at $3.50/week.
