Tyler Kusanich and Becca Mullin are the winners of this year’s Warren County Historical Society “Trail of History Challenge.”
This is the fifth year for the Warren County Historical Society’s scavenger hunt.
“The challenges were orchestrated by the organization’s Education Committee members who gathered months in advance to map out twelve historic sites,” said Michelle Gray, Warren County Historical Society director. “The committee members are tasked with identifying a location and seeking out clues that will help lead participants to their destinations.”
Kusanich moved to the area eight years ago for employment with Ellwood National Forge, and Mullin relocated to Warren County six years ago and now works at Ellwood. During their visit to pick up their prize basket, they shared that they are newly engaged. They both spoke of how much they enjoyed the Trail Challenge and that it has allowed them to learn more about the area.
Whirley-DrinkWorks! donated trail cups, the Warren County Visitors Bureau for donated cash prize, Paula Bogart donated the one-year membership to the Warren County Historical Society, and Education Committee provided time and effort to organize the challenge.
