Club plans Sunday hike

On Sunday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club is planning a hike. Meet at Musante Street, Warren at 1 p.m. Participants will travel Titusville to the Jersey Bridge parking lot before the Drakes Well Museum, 202 Museum Lane, Titusville. The hike will be a 4 mile loop on the Gerard trail on the west side of oil creek. The trail is very steep at the beginning then levels off. Jim and Kim Berkey will be leading this hike.

Hospice announces coming events

On Nov. 2 at 3 p.m., Hospice of Warren County will hold the Annual Memorial Service at the Pleasant Community Church, 673 Pleasant Drive, Warren. Through music, uplifting readings, prayers and fellowship, this non-denominational service celebrates the lives of our loved ones who have passed. If you would like the name of your loved one to be read aloud during the service, please call the Hospice office 814-723-2455 .

On Nov. 11 and 18 Hospice is offering two workshops as part of our “Going Solo” program. At 4:30 p.m. Nov. 11, an event will be at Midtown Motors to learn about minor car repairs. On Nov. 18, come to Niewoehner Hall at First Lutheran Church for Get Your Affairs in Order- Legal Documents at end of life.
