Micheal Carnahan was awarded the Paul Clough Memorial Academic Scholarship during Youngsville High School’s recent awards ceremony. The scholarship, established in memory of Paul Clough, emphasizes the importance of goal setting — a value Clough deeply believed in. The selection was based on an essay in which students described a time they set a goal, how they achieved it, and how they continued to “raise the bar” by setting a new one. The Clough family hopes the scholarship inspires students to pursue their ambitions with determination and resilience.
