Community Foundation receives donations
The Community Foundation of Warren County received $396,398 in contributions from donors in November to the following funds held by the Community Foundation:
– Trevor Chambers Memorial Scholarship – Scott and Deanne Hendrickson, Donald and Helen Chambers.
– Jack and Ree Eggleston Family Scholarship – Estate of Sarah Jane Eggleston.
– K-9 Fund – Blueberry Hill Golf Scramble.
– Kids In Need Fund – Timothy and Cheryl Huber.
– Mary-Emily and William S. Allen Fund – William S. Allen.
– Ronnie and Joyce Weller Tidioute Development Fund – Willard Hensel, Bar’s Insurance Company, Chris and Debbie Sabina.

The Community Foundation’s Trust Distribution Committee approved grants totaling $261,000 in December to the following charitable causes serving Warren County residents:
– Experience, Inc. – renovation project
– Family Services of Warren County – renovation project
– Paws Along the River – equipment refurbishment
– Struthers Library Theatre – equipment upgrade and renovations project
– Warren Area Student Union – campaign match
The Community Foundation’s Trust Distribution Committee also approved non-traditional scholarships totaling $7,210 in December to 5 Warren County residents pursuing additional training or certifications to further their careers.
The Community Foundation’s Corporate Board of Directors approved Donor Advised grants totaling $10,330 in December to the following charitable causes:
– Kids In Need Fund, Ronnie and Joyce Weller Tidioute Development Fund.
