Outdoor club to hike Sunday

On Sunday, members of the Allegheny Outdoor Club will be hiking in the Hearts Content Area. This will be a 5-mile moderate hike. Meet at 1 p.m. at Musante Street in Warren. Bob Gregerson is the leader.

Community Blood Bank

to host blood drive

Community Blood Bank will host a blood drive from noon to 5 p.m. Jan. 21 at Holy Redeemer Church, 11 Russell St., Warren. Call 814-596-3395 to schedule an appointment to donate. Appointments are encouraged to reduce your wait time but are not required. Walk-ins will be taken as space allows. Community Blood Bank partners with hospitals in Northwest Pennsylvania and Western New York to provide blood for patients in need. Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be in good general health as well as have a valid photo ID. Prior to donating, those giving blood should eat a good, solid meal and drink at least 18 ounces of water.
