Two churches in northern Warren County have partnered to host a “Northern Tier Expo” aimed at highlighting service organizations that operate in the northern part of the county.

The Wiltsie Community Church and the Scandia Covenant Church are hosting the event, which will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Warren County School District’s Central Office in Russell.

“This event is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, learn about the resources available to them, and enjoy a day of family-friendly activities,” Katie Walker, one of the event’s organizers, said.

The event aims to connect the community with organizations that are seeking volunteers or providing essential services to the community.

It will also include a “Touch a Truck” experience with construction vehicles, emergency vehicles and a Transit Authority of Warren County bus as well as free food and entertainment.
