Garden Club meets

The Warren Garden Club held its July meeting at the home of member Rebecca Ryan. Highlights included a children’s playhouse, gazebo and deck. Members talked about gardening successes and disappointments from the season. The group will tour the Olmsted Manor in Ludlow for its next meeting.

The following maintenance work is set for PennDOT roads this week: Crack sealing on Rt. 958 in Freehold Twp.; Pipe replacement on Picadilly Hill Rd. in Columbus Twp.; Ditch cleaning on Miller Hill Rd. in Farmington Twp.; Spray patching on Blue Eye Rd. in Spring Creek Twp., Plank Rd. in Columbus Twp., Brown Hill Rd. in Sugar Grove Twp. and Valentine Run Rd. in Pine Grove Twp. and edge paving on Priest Hollow Rd. and Cable Hollow Rd. in Pine Grove Twp.
