Youngsville graduate Matt DeSimone was recently awarded the Paul Clough Memorial Academic Scholarship during Youngsville High School’s Commencement ceremony. The selection was made based on an essay the student provides explaining a time when the student had set a goal, how the goal was achieved and how the bar was then raised by setting a new goal. Presenting the scholarship to DeSimone, center, were members of the late Clough’s family including from left, his mother Caryll, father Dean, son Collin, wife Jennifer and daughter Lilly.
