Pleas entered in county court

One guilty plea was entered while six individuals entered not guilty pleas during arraignment and change of plea proceedings on Thursday before President Judge Maureen Skerda.

Amanda R. Whitford, 29, Warren, pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child, possession with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges of endangering the welfare of a child, dealing in the proceeds of unlawful activities, possession of instrument of crime with intent, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana were not prosecuted.

The following defendants entered not guilty pleas:

Tyler C. Harmon, 37, Pittsfield. Harmon has been charged with aggravated cruelty to animals and cruelty to animals.

Adam M. Larson, 40, Warren. Larson has been charged with criminal attempt – unlawful contact with a minor and criminal use of a communications facility.

Gary L. McCann, 48, Jamestown, NY. McCann has been charged with theft, receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of automobiles.

Joshua A. Merkel, 26, Warren. Merkel has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault and criminal mischief.

Dustin L. Nelson, 43, Clarendon. Nelson faces two counts of burglary, criminal trespass, two counts of theft and three counts of criminal mischief.

James C. O’Donnell, 57, Youngsville. O’Donnell has been charged with two counts of DUI and two traffic offenses.
