SUGAR GROVE — The Sugar Grove Ruff Riders 4-H Horse Club will meet Oct. 30 at Down’s barn/arena in Lottsville.

Those attending should dress for the weather because the barn is not heated.

The club met recently to discuss the year’s meeting dates and events schedule along with guidelines for the club and then reviewed with members. Officers were elected – the job of each office was explained and then nominations were taken for officers. The elected officers are: Zoe Atkins, president; Amanda Sirianni, vice president; Arlene Boisvert, secretary; Jordyn Morrison, treasurer; Arlene Boisvert, news reporter; Esther Boisvert, social chair; CeAura Thompson and Lillian Boisvert.

Project books were handed out and members spent time working on them. Records on horses go from October through June 22.

Sweatshirts, t-shirts and jackets orders will be placed at the next meeting. Returning first-year members recieve a t-shirt and second-year members receive a jacket.
