Magic show

A “Horror in the Library” magic show will be presented at the Warren Public Library’s Slater Room on Oct. 30 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Presented by Cris Johnson, it will feature several young adult/teen horror novels wrapped into tricks. The show is for grades 6-12 and their parents.

Bridge results

Lynn Way and Richard Woodruff were first Monday at the YMCA with Lana Creal and Chick Bello in second. Marge Neel came in first and Connie Lucia was second Tuesday at the Allegheny Community Center. Thursday at the Woman’s Club, Donna Holding rose to the top and Diane Scarcella was second.

Antique club meets

The October meeting of the Warren Antique Study Club featured a presentation by Victoria Boehmer, owner/operator of the Tybout House on Market St., who demonstrated the process of marking yarn. The group’s next meeting will be Dec. 11 at noon at the Woman’s Club.

Indivisible to meet

Indivisible Warren PA will meet Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Jefferson DeFrees Family Center.

St. John’s

Lutheran Church trunk or treat

Trunk or treat at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 200 Pleasant Drive, will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m., rain or shine. All are welcome.
