Tidioute Borough received two grants from Community Foundation of Warren County to assist the final funding of the cedar playground set installed at the boat launch area.
A total of $25,000 – $15,000 from Tidioute Institutional Fund and $10,000 from Tidioute Area Community Fund – was presented to the Tidioute Borough in March.
The funds were established in 2018 by Dave Byers, a longtime supporter of Tidioute, and the Community Foundation Board made the grants on his behalf.
“The Tidioute Borough is grateful for the Foundation’s generous donation to the community of Tidioute,” Borough Manager Amanda Mesel said. “These grants allowed the borough to finalize the purchase of the playset from Cedar Works. The new playground provides the residents and guests a safe place to gather.”
