Warren County Commissioner Tricia Durbin, who is seeking re-election, is issuing a statement in regard to a mailing being circulated during the last week.

“This week, I received a postcard from the ‘DemocracyFirst PAC’ endorsing myself and Troy Clawson for commissioner candidates,” she said. “This came as quite a surprise to me. I was not contacted by them, nor had anything to do with this particular PAC.

“For those who received it, I do believe in the conservative values described on the postcard, but I haven’t affiliated myself with any other as I continue to run as a candidate who is willing to work with any person who would be elected with me. Thanks for your support.”
