Barry and Sara Peate celebrated their 51st Anniversary at home. The couple was married at the Evangelical United Methodist Church, 18 Second St., Youngsville, by Rev. Donald McIntyre in 1972. Barry and Sara are High School sweethearts. They love to travel, including camping and the North Carolina Topsail Beach. The Peate’s are parents of two adult children, Eric Peate (Heather) and Amanda Peate Baker (Jerry). There are proud grandparents of 5 grandchildren. They have lived in the Youngsville area most of their married life.
