A Russell man was taken to Warren County Jail on Friday for allegedly having sexual contact with a child.

Michael D. Wolfe, 19, of Russell, is charged with aggravated indecent assault of a child, corruption of minors, and indecent assault — person less than 13 years of age.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, Wolfe touched the alleged victim inappropriately and “made her view pornography” in February.

During a forensic interview, the alleged victim “advised that the defendant would offer her candy and his cellular device during the commission on this crime,” according to the affidavit.

Wolfe was arraigned Friday before District Judge Laura Bauer and taken to Warren County Jail after failing to post $25,000 bail.

A preliminary hearing is set for 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 15.
