Pleas entered in county court
One guilty plea and one not guilty plea were entered before Judge Gregory Hammond on Thursday during arraignment proceedings.
Sierra L. Tannler, 30, Warren, pleaded guilty to a felony count of escape.
Tannler was charged with escape back in January when , according to the county Sheriff’s Office, she walked off a work release program.
She was found nearly two weeks later in Pittsfield Township, east of Wrightsville, at a rural camp on Bull Hill Road after a medical emergency was called in from a place that had been on a list of possible locations for her.
“We developed information that took us to Bull Hill Road,” Sheriff Bryan Zeybel previously told the Times Observer. “She was there (but) not in good medical condition.”
There was nothing apparently suspicious nor nefarious about her condition, Zeybel said, speculating that she was suffering from exposure after being on the run for almost two weeks.
Jesse W. Haight, 29, Youngsville, pleaded not guilty. Haight faces charges including two counts of DUI and two traffic violations.
