The Warren Antique Study Club met recently and heard from Skip Trumbull, who has educated people about the Civil War as a reenactor for over 30 years. Trumbull was dressed as a doctor serving during the Civil War. He lectured on the advancement of surgical procedures, referring to his collection of many of the surgical tools available to the doctors during the war. The group will next meet on Monday, April 24, at 11 a.m. in Kane at the Laughing Owl Press Company, 59 N. Fraley St., where the club will have a tour and mini workshop utilizing a traditional letter press.
