Audubon Camps for Ages 4-12 February 20 and 22

Submitted Photo Four to 12-year-olds have two opportunities this month for learning days outdoors at the Audubon Community Nature Center: Monday, Feb. 20, and Wednesday, Feb. 22.

Children can kick off their winter break with time spent outdoors at the Audubon Community Nature Center.

Spaces are filling up fast for two February Camps for children between the ages of 4 and 12 on Monday, Feb. 20, and Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Children can play in the snow, build with ice, experiment with materials to stay warm and search for the plants and animals starting to brave the cold and get a jump-start on spring. Children need to dress for the weather and have extra clothing and winter gear for outside activities. They also need a packed lunch and snack that do not need to be refrigerated.

Cost for the day is $48 for Nature Center member children. Additional siblings receive a $5 discount.

Enrollment is limited. Paid reservations are required by Thursday, Feb. 16, for the Monday, Feb. 20, camp and by Monday, Feb. 20, for the Wednesday, Feb. 22 camp. For more information and to register, call 716-569-2345 during business hours or go to AudubonCNC.org and click through “Programs and Events.”
