Sugar Grove Ruff Riders met last week for their regular monthly meeting. The meeting included recognizing members for their fundraising efforts. The dates for the next QAM training were shared for 2023. QAM is Quality Animal Management training that each 4H member is required to complete during the year.

Each year members are required to do a horse information-based presentation. Our group does this monthly. This month Arlene Boisvert shared a presentation on the Saddle Seat discipline and Esther Boisvert shared her experiences learning how to jump with her horse.

The group discussed their upcoming trip to Equine Affair, Columbus, Ohio in April. We are excited to attend again this year and are looking forward to seeing what is new to the event, as well as making more fun memories!

After 4H business was discussed, the group had their annual Christmas party that included a gift exchange, lots of delicious food and snacks followed by a scavenger hunt.
