Fiber Artists group re-established

Photo provided to the Times Observer

The re-established Warren County Fiber Artists met Nov. 1 at the Church of God on Market Street. The program for the evening was on the technique of Tunisian crochet. Tunisian crochet gives the appearance of knitting or weaving but is perfect for those artists who prefer crochet. Pictured is Victoria Boehmer, owner of the Tybout House Yarn & Candy Shop, who is learning to do the Tunisian crochet stitch from Lorinda Hill, who presented the program. The next meeting of the Warren County Fiber Artists will be a Christmas party on Dec. 6 at the Church of God at 6 p.m. Anyone from the public is welcome to come. Those attending are asked to bring a snack to share and a fiber related gift ($10 or less) to exchange. Call (814) 688-0293 or email warrencofiberartist@gmail.com to make a reservation or to find out more about our club.

Starting at $3.50/week.
