The Youngsville Marching Eagles traveled to Preston High School in Kingwood, W.V., for their second competition of the season recently, scoring an 82.00, a four-point increase from the previous week, earning a second place standing for week three in the Tournament of Bands. Band member Michael Carnahan, front row, center, was awarded the Outstanding Performer Award, which can be earned by just one student at a Tournament of Bands competition.
