Russell woman charged following domestic incident

A Russell woman is facing terroristic threat and assault charges for allegedly pointing a gun at the chest of a man during a domestic incident Friday night.

Jennifer R. Mandeville, 41, 5 Sunset Lane, was charged by Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police on Saturday with terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment in the wake of the incident.

Troopers allege in the affidavit of probable cause that she and a victim were in a “Verbal argument about their relationship” at about 10:50 p.m.

The victim left the room to “get away” from Mandeville, according to the affidavit of probable cause, but heard her coming.

“When the victim opened the door,” Troopers allege, “Mandeville pointed a gun at his chest.”

The affidavit alleges that Mandeville “made statements that she would stab him and shoot him if he did not stop the fighting with her.”

The victim responded by grabbing her “to attempt to get the gun away from her.”

Troopers say that the victim was able to “wrestle the gun away from Mandeville.”

Online court records show that she was charged Saturday and arraigned by District Judge Raymond Zydonik.

Charged Saturday and (per OCR) arraigned at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday morning and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.

Starting at $3.50/week.
