Youngsville Public Library has announced the following programs:

¯ Free job workshops — On Wednesday, Rebecca Whitney will hold three separate career development workshops at Youngsville Library. The first workshop is from noon to 1 p.m. and is an open, Walk-in Q & A session. Ask personalized questions regarding job searches, PA CareerLink, free job training opportunities, and more. No registration needed.

¯ From 1 to 2 p.m. SkillUP PA, an in-person session, walk-ins welcome. SkillUP PA provides access to more 6,000 free, online skills training courses to help you prepare for a new career path, enhance your existing skill-set, and more. Stop in to receive one-on-one assistance on how to sign-up for, navigate, and utilize this great resource to meet your personal needs.

¯ From 2 to 3 p.m. is “Financial Literacy.” This workshop is available for in-person, virtual, or by-phone attendance. This workshop does require registration. Contact Whitney at 814-853-5141 or Rebecca.Whitney@NWPACareerLink.org.

Entertainment for the coming week includes:

¯ Music in Park, Warren: Free City of Warren Music in the Park, Friday’s 7 p.m. at Soldiers & Sailors Park featuring “Whisky Joe” (Classic Rock).

¯ Corn festival, Youngsville — Free Youngsville Music at the Youngsville Cornfest, Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. Band: “Backlog.” Fireworks Friday at 8:30 pm, sponsored by the Rouse. Saturday, Aug. 27 will include live music from 6 to 8 p.m. featuring the band “Duo64.”
