Audubon Photo Contest Deadline Is Aug. 28
Photographers have until Sunday, Aug. 28, to enter their photographs in the 2022 Audubon Community Nature Center Nature Photography Contest.
A panel of judges will choose Youth (ages 8 to 18) and Adult (ages 19 and older) winners in the categories of Fauna and Landscapes/Waterscapes. Fauna includes any wild animal, no photos of animals in captivity. Landscapes/Waterscapes can be mountains, forests, fields, deserts, oceans, lakes, ponds, rivers, creeks and more.
Each of the four judged winners will receive a $200 cash prize. The panel will also name three youth and three adult finalists in both categories.
For $1 per vote, anyone can vote for their favorite entries at GoGoPhotoContest.com/ACNCPhotoContest. The Youth and Adult entries receiving the most votes are the Community Choice winners, and each receives a $200 cash prize. Three more Youth and three Adults will receive finalist recognition.
Photos can receive both the community choice and a judged award.
Winning and finalist photographs will be displayed on the contest website along with the photographers’ names and cities of residence. The Audubon Community Nature Center will print the winning photographs to exhibit at the Nature Center in Jamestown and winners and finalists will be announced in a widely distributed news release, including to their local media when known.
