Military Share distribution is Friday

There will be a Second Harvest Food Bank Military Share distribution at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Penelec Parking lot, 1500 Pennsylvania Ave., W., Warren. “The Military Share program of Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania delivers fresh, nutritious foods to families with at least one member who has served or is serving in the armed forces or National Guard,” according to Second Harvest. Questions about the free program, including qualifications, may be directed to the Second Harvest Helpline at (814) 459-3663 ext. 117. The distribution will be handled on a first come, first served basis.

Outdoor Club to ride bikes Sunday

Members of the Allegheny Outdoor Club will ride bikes Sunday on the Samuel Justice Trail. The group will meet at Musante Street at 1 p.m. or the McClintock Well No. 1 trail head at 2 p.m. on Waltz Road in Rouseville. Those attending are asked to bring bike helmets.
