Hill and Dale
Garden Club meets
The Hill and Dale Garden Club meeting was held on May 25 at the Wrightsville Community Church. A report was presented on dandelions, the longest flowering plant and all parts are edible. Up to the 1800’s, it was common to remove yards to make room for dandelions. The Rouse Home had to cancel garden therapy on May 16th because of Covid concerns. Those not doing the glass flowers may pack individual bags of cups and flowers for the residents to do the arrangements on their own. A member displayed some of her glass works and demonstrated how to put the pieces together. The meeting was adjourned for members to do the glass work or bag the flowers and cups for the Rouse Home residents.
