Preliminary hearings held Wednesday

One guilty plea was entered, charges were withdrawn against four and one was held for court during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

Pamela A. Devore, 42, Youngsville, pleaded guilty to illegal operation without ignition interlock. Three traffic violations were withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against the following defendants:

¯ Nicholas S. Abrams, 27, Bear Lake. Abrams had been charged with possession of marijuana.

¯ William J. Dick, 42, Corry. Dick had been charged with possession of marijuana and operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility. A speeding violation was re-categorized as a traffic offense.

¯ Porsche L. Miller, 35, Warren. Miller had been charged with tamper with or fabricate physical evidence, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

¯ Ashley R. Ongley, 34, Spartansburg, Pa. Ongley had been charged with two counts of theft by deception, receiving stolen property and financial exploitation of an older adult or care dependent person.

¯ Michael J. Cummings, 48, Warren, was held for court. Cummings faces charges including two counts of criminal attempt — aggravated assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, criminal attempt — simple assault, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment.
