Four lucky winners walked away from Ekey Florist and Greenhouse with rain barrels.

About 15 participants in a rain barrel presentation were eligible to win barrels decorated by county students as part of the Warren County Conservation District Save the Rain project.

The winners of the particular barrels were:

¯ Michele Peters — Sheffield Area High School;

¯ Karen Bauer — Tidioute Community Charter School;

¯ Karin Davidson — Warren County Christian School; and

¯ Olivia Goss — Youngsville High School.

For hosting the event, Ekey’s chose to keep the Eisenhower High School rain barrel.

The Warren County Conservation District expressed thanks to all who came to learn about rain barrels.

Partial financial and other support for Warren County Save the Rain was provided by the Department of Environmental Protection’s 2021 Environmental Education Grants Program.

Starting at $3.50/week.
