Promotion to aid local law enforcement

Times Observer photo by Brian Ferry West End Takeout is having a promotion to support local police in Warren County. Pictured are (from left) Warren County Sheriff Brian Zeybel, City of Warren Police Sgt. Joe Bees, Chief Deputy Sheriff Chuck Fetzeck, West End owners Megan and Ian Lawson, Conewango Township Police Lt. Randy Carlson, and City of Warren Police Capt. Jeff Dougherty.

I’d like that with pepperoni and a donation to local police, please.

This month, every large pizza sold on Fridays at West End Takeout in Warren, will generate $1 to be donated to county and local law enforcement agencies.

“This community is unbelievable when it comes to small business,” owner Ian Lawson said. “We just want to give back to the places that matter.”

“With everything going on in the world right now, police officers need to be recognized tremendously,” owner Megan Lawson said.

The Lawsons expect the donation to add up to several hundred dollars this month.

The dollars, and the recognition, will go to City of Warren Police, Conewango Township Police, Youngsville Borough Police, Warren County Sheriff’s Office, and Warren County Adult Probation.

The owners plan to recognize firefighters with a future donation.

Starting at $3.50/week.
