Warren County has surpassed 4,000 total cases of COVID-19 and 600 this month.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Health, there were 56 new cases on Tuesday.
That brings the running total to 4,031, 3,262 confirmed and 769 probables.
In October, there have been 661 new cases.
The county remains in an area of high community transmission, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). With over 800 tests administered in the past seven days, over 20 percent of them came back positive.
There were no new deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Wednesday's report, leaving the county death toll at 124.
With the exception of boosters, the number of new vaccinations was low.
The number of people partially vaccinated dropped from 2,362 to 2,302 (meaning 60 more people receiving second doses than first doses) while the number of people who are fully vaccinated rose by 24, compared with the numbers from Monday, the last time updated information on vaccines was provided. In the same time, 165 residents received booster shots.
On Tuesday, a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advisory committee recommended that the agency give emergency use authorization to a reduced-dose Pfizer vaccine for use in children ages five to 11.
