Event set

There are still tickets available for the annual Stinger Reverse Drawing. This is a Stage event this Thursday, Oct. 14, at the Youngsville Fire Hall. The event includes dinner and starts at 5 p.m. Anyone interested in a ticket is asked to contact Mike Soliday at (814) 779-2595 and leave a message.

Retirees to meet

National Forte Retirees will meet for breakfast on Oct. 12 at 9 a.m. at Station 61, Rt. 6, Youngsville.

Bridge results

Shelley Dahlie and Pat Fincher came in first on Monday evening at the YMCA while Richard Woodruff and Lynn Way were second. Bill Massa placed first Tuesday afternoon at the Allegheny Community Center with Connie Michell in second. At the Woman’s Club Thursday afternoon, Connie Lucia and Bill Massa were first and second.
