Wild Wind Folk Art & Craft Festival returns to fairgrounds

Wild Wind Folk Art & Craft Festival returns to fairgrounds

The Wild Wind Folk Art & Craft Festival is once again set to honor the heritage of handcrafted artistry.

This year’s 41st annual event will be held Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at the Warren County Fairgrounds. The festival brings together an array of artistic talent with over 150 juried local and national crafters, all passionate about sharing their expertise.

From folk art and handmade collectibles to period reproductions and traditional American crafts, Wild Wind’s artists are selected to captivate every interest.

The fairgrounds offer a picturesque setting for the festival where artisans display their wares in quaint, open air barns and the surrounding outdoor areas under tents.

The festival will host the return of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Amobile Vet Center will be on site to provide reajustment counseling and information resources to veterans, service members and their families. Anyone interested is encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.

Admission fees are $7 for adults, $5 for seniors, and free to children 12 and under. Attend Saturday and return Sunday at no charge. For additional information, visit www.wildwindfestival.com, emailinfo@wildwindfestival.com,or call (814) 688-1516.
