Kari Swanson, founder of CORE, which provides mental health and suicide prevention education in Warren County, accepted a check for $1,900 from Brian Salapek. The donation reflects the proceeds of registration fees and donations from the Jessica Salapek Memorial 5k. A fundraiser for CORE will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 11 at Bent Run Brewing with music provided by Smilo and the Ghost.
