The Warren County Conservation District and Western Pennsylvania Conservancy will hold a Stream Dynamics Tour in the Youngsville/Pittsfield area starting at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 24.

“If you have streamside property and are interested in learning about ways to protect your property from erosion, please call (814) 726-1441 to register for this free event,” a release from WCCD said.

Speakers will include WPC and WCCD personnel.

“Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this event will be held entirely outdoors,” according to the release. “We will also be limiting this event to 20 participants.”

Those interested in signing up are asked to register by April 22.

On the day of the event, participants will meet at Hilltop Park in Youngsville — at the top of Thatcher Lane off of Route 6 near Country Fair.

Participants and leaders will drive separately to at least two project sites on Brokenstraw Creek.

“Financial and other support for this project is provided by the Pennsylvania Association of Conservation Districts Inc., through a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection under Section 319 of the Clean Water Act, administered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency,” according to the release.
