Lillian is survived by a daughter, Linda Jordan Loomis (George), sons, Douglas Jordan (Kim) and Michael (Marguerite) Jordan. Grandchildren, Kristen (Greg) Heiden, Jason Jordan (Leigh Ann), Jessica Klemens (Dave), Annie Jordan, John Johnson (Sue), Thomas Weaver Jr. (Amanda), Tara Troutman (Ron), James Weaver (Galena). Also surviving are great grandchildren Jordan, Harlow, Lorelai, Sophie, Nathan, Zoe, Lauren, Alec, Bram, Ronny, Devin, and Uriah. She was preceded in death by her parents Morris and Amanda Colleen Giltinan, her daughter Susie Jordan, husband Harry Hopes, her brothers and their spouses, James and Lucille Giltinan, Morrie and Ethel Giltinan, and nephew Bob Giltinan.

Lillian was born on Dec. 22, 1928, in Jamestown, N.Y., and raised in Watts Flatts. She graduated from Panama High School and was a member of her school band and a cheerleader. Her spunky and fun personality shined throughout her life-time. She loved knitting, golfing, going to the hair salon, laying on the beach, riding around town with her best friend for many years, Joyce Russell. Lillian en-joyed spending time with her grandchildren. She had a beautiful essence that lit up a room. Lillian’s Catholic faith was an important part of her life and death. She was loving and caring to everyone she met and had a natural tendency to touch your hand when she was talking to you. She was a Hospice volunteer that brought peace to others by reading passages from the Bible. Lillian will be missed by her family and friends in the physical world but we have faith she will be happily greeted by those waiting for her on the other side.

A Celebration of Life for both Lillian and her daughter, Susie Jordan, will be announced and held at a later date.

The family wishes to thank all staff at the Rouse Suites in Youngsville for providing a home for Lilli-an for six wonderful years. The staff were her “family” for that time and she adored each and every one of them.

We ask that if you would like to donate to Chautauqua County Hospice you specify your donation be applied to the care and maintenance of the new Hospice Care Home on Fairmount Ave in Lake-wood. Lillian was fortunate to have a home where she was loved and cared for during her illness. Some people with a terminal illness don’t have that option. Thanks to the new Hospice Care Home, now they will.
