Warren Farmers Market opens Saturday
COVID-19 isn’t shutting down Farmers Market.
The Warren Farmers Market will open for its 45th year on Saturday.
The market will be open, with appropriate COVID-19 precautions in effect, from 8 a.m. to noon in the Midtown parking lot.
“Fresh vegetables, fruit, plants, flowers, and some crafts will be featured with more and more added each week,” Board Member Gary Lester said. “Vendors are still being accepted.”
“This will be 45 years of continuous activity,” Board President Alan Scott said. “We will follow all social distancing that is expected in any grocery.”
Vendors will wear masks and gloves, he said.
“Masks will be required,” Scott said. “Shoppers will be expected to wait six feet back.”
But, the market will be open.
Anyone looking to become a vendor or looking for information about the market may contact warrenpafarmmarket@gmail.com or on the Warren, PA, Farmers’ Market Facebook.
