Music in the Park event moved

Music in the Park, scheduled for 7 p.m. today at Soldiers and Sailors Park in Warren, featuring Night Shift, will be moved due to paving and the chance of rain. The new venue for the event will be Struthers Library Theatre.

Second Harvest Food Bank Military Share program set

The Second Harvest Food Bank Military Share program scheduled for 3:30 p.m. today will be held at St. Joseph Church parking lot, Pennsylvania Avenue West in Warren. Families who have a veteran or active duty servicewoman or serviceman in their households are eligible and may contact Programs Manager Jerry Weiss at (814) 459-3663 ext. 120 for information. The program will be a drive-through with participants asked to stay in their vehicles with masks on. Second Harvest personnel will load food into trunks.

Mystery Well event has been canceled

Due to public health concerns stemming from the COVID-19 crisis, the 2020 Mystery Well event has been canceled. All plans are being postponed for a June 2021 event. The Cherry Grove Old Home and Community Day Committee made the announcement Tuesday.

Evergreen Charge Kids Club to start meeting in person

SANFORD — The Evergreen Charge Kids Club will be wrapping up Facebook videos this month and will begin meeting in person again, but following safe social distance guidelines. Watch for videos posted to the Grand Valley United Methodist Church Facebook page on Thursdays around 5 p.m. through the end of June. Starting Thursday, July 16, the Kids Club will go back to meeting at the Sanford United Methodist Church at 5 p.m. Those interested can please bring a blanket for family members to sit on outdoors.
