The Kids In Need (KIN) Fund provided meals from Bob Evans to more than 180 people in the Warren County community and 85 Easter baskets from Ekey florists to brighten the holiday, according to Warren County School District Director of Pupil Services Dr. Patricia Hawley.
Those meals and baskets were delivered on Saturday by district teachers, administrators, and paraprofessionals who volunteered their time.
The KIN program started in 2015 as a fund for homeless children in the community. It was later expanded to provide support to low-income students and families.
