Event postponed

The 200 Club fundraiser event for Eisenhower Band Boosters currently scheduled for April 4 at the Russell Fire Hall has been postponed. Parents are asked to continue to sell the tickets.

Closed meeting

North Warren Municipal Authority has closed its office to the public until further notice. All payments should be mailed or placed in the drop box. The monthly board meeting on April 2 will be closed to the public.

Blood screening postponed

The 42nd Annual Kiwanis Club of Warren Blood Screening at St. Joseph Educational Center has been postponed.

Kiwanis Club is encouraging everyone that was planning on having their blood screening to get signed up anyway, that way they can be contacted directly with any future changes. Payment is not required to sign up.

People can get signed up by leaving a voicemail at (814) 406-9072 with their name and phone number. A representative of Kiwanis Club will return their call. The website at www.kiwanisofwarrenpa.org also takes signups and is available 24/7. People who have already signed up will receive confirmation in mid-April from Kiwanis Club when a new date is selected.

Warren Christian Women

Warren Christian Women, Village Missions Country Partners, has canceled its April 14 luncheon with the virus pandemic and closure of the Allegheny Community Center. The tentative May 12 luncheon will be held at the ACC, 42 Clark St., Warren, from noon to 2 p.m. The program is scheduled to include spiritual speaker Virginia Loreaux, Warren, with Loreaux also providing music on her guitar, and featured guest Anne VanHouten, Trades of Hope.

Men, women, veterans, and new guests welcome. Watch for an update as the schedule may change.

Learn-to-Fish Day postponed

March 27 and March 28 scheduled days for the Brent McKown Fish Day — Trout Stamp & Fishing License Purchase Day for 16 to18 year olds is postponed. No new date is scheduled as of yet.
