Chili for Life

Relay for Life chili cook-off to fight cancer

It was cold and snowy outside, but things got hot and spicy at North Warren Fire Hall on Saturday.

The annual Relay for Life Chili Cook-Off featured 10 different chili offerings.

The best of those chili offerings, according to the panel of three judges — Pat Williams, John Papalia, and Brian Ferry — was created by Todd Garris.

Attendees were entitled to chili samples as well as samples from Bent Run Brewery and Brokenstraw Winery. There were baked goods, ice cream, and other treats available, as well.

Proceeds from ticket sales, door prizes, raffles and fund-raisers held during the event benefit Warren County Relay for Life.

The event is held in early February each year.
