Bridge results

Tuesday afternoon at the Allegheny Community Center, Bill Massa and Patty Baker were tied for first. At the Woman’s Club Thursday afternoon, Connie Michell came in first with Susan Swab in second. Kathy Albaugh placed first Thursday evening at the library and Char Hoffman was second.

Polka Sunday

The Slovenian Polka Boosters will meet from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, at Ridgway Eagles with the Rex Taneri Band, Canfield, Ohio, performing. There will be music for all types of dancing, and the public is invited. For information, call John or Pat Moore at (814) 837-9218.

Classes to lunch

The class of 1957 of Warren High School will have a luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Saturday Feb. 15, at Christie’s Downtown Pub & Grill.

The Warren High School class of 1953 will meet for lunch at the Cornerstone at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12.

Conewango Speakeasy

Conewango Speakeasy, a fundraiser for the Conewango Creek Watershed Association, will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 29, at Warren Moose, 422 Pennsylvania Ave., W., Warren. Tickets are $25 per ticket or two for $40 through Feb, 16. After Feb. 16, tickets are $30 per ticket or two for $50.

The event includes food, fun, door prizes, music, and wine/beer/spirits tasting. Bring extra cash for a 50/50 and basket raffles. Costumes are recommended, but optional.

Holiday closing

Experience, Inc., your local Area Agency on Aging and the senior centers in Warren and Forest counties, will be closed on Monday, Feb, 17, for the holiday.

Fire services to meet

There will be a fire services meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at Lander Fire Hall. Plan to attend.
