Benefit scheduled

A benefit is scheduled for Joni Camp and the children in her care on Feb. 23 at the Eagles Club from 1 to 6 p.m. The event will include a spaghetti dinner, 50/50, and a silent auction.

Class lunch

The Warren High School class of 1951 will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, at Applebee’s.

The Warren High School class of 1955 will meet at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, at Snuffy’s.

Heroes support group

The Heroes support group for parents of children with disabilities will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, at Jefferson DeFrees Family Center (Jefferson Room). This is a kid-friendly meeting with activities for children.

The speaker is Mrs. Megan Leach, Life Skills support teacher in Warren County School District. She is going to discuss what the Life Skills support program looks like in grades K-4, and how the program is tailored to meet the needs of each student. For information, visit HEROES on Facebook.

Shrove Tuesday Supper

Pancakes, sausage, a dessert, and beverage will be served at the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Feb. 25 at Lander UM Church. The price is a donation to benefit Love, Inc.

Rescheduled ‘Magical’ event

Warren County Christian School is gearing up for a ‘magical’ event at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8. “The Magic Man,” Jamie Petrush, and his lovely assistant, Mary Ann, are prepared to “take audiences on a family-friendly journey into a world where anything is possible and leave them with an experience they’ll never forget!”

Advance tickets are now being sold for $10 each. To order tickets, or for further information, the school office may be reached at 563-4457. The event was rescheduled from Jan. 18.
