The Hill & Dale Garden Club meeting and Christmas Party was held December 11 at Ribs & Bones.

Ruth Ann welcomed everyone and wished all a Merry Christmas. Peg read the devotions.

There was a good turnout with 23 members in attendance and members remembered those that could not join. Many Bingo prizes were received for the Rouse Home.

Ruth Ann installed officers for 2020 and they are President Peg Stino; 1st Vice June Natale; 2nd Vice Cheryl Vanco; 3rd Vice Debbie Wooden; Secretary Muriel Redick with Donna Lundmark as a fill-in for Muriel. Also, Treasurer Carol Eckert; Historian Linda Feather; and Directors Eleanor Johnson and Ruth Ann DeVore.

A list of the 2020 programs was passed around to everyone.

The next meeting will be at 12:30 p.m. March 25, 2020, with lunch at Jack’s Tap House on Liberty Street in Warren and then, at 2 p.m., there will be a tour of the Struthers Library Theater.

Member Lee Ann Russell talked about her trip to Amsterdam, as well as providing samples of cookies and cheese. She talked about its history, language, and showed many pictures.

Members had their Christmas gift exchange which was a lot of fun passing the gifts back and forth based on a story Ruth Ann told of “lefts and rights.”
